For the second year in row, cute little birds have built nests in my ferns. Both of them. We love to see the tiny blue eggs in the nests. We have seen the eggs hatch, and the baby birds finally leave the nests.
Here is the scary part. I am afraid to water the ferns. I have a fear that the birds are going to attack me. They fly away when they see me coming, but I can see them watching me from the trees. I just know that the birds think I am going to damage their nests. My ferns might die for lack of water. I begged Brock to water them for me the other night. He MADE me do it (he did go with me,though). He said that I must face my fear. He told me that facing my fear would build character. What a mean husband (I still love him).

That's too funny! I like your new picture! on your sidebar
Sorry about your fear, but that actually made me laugh! We also have that problem every year, but unfortunately they always abandon their eggs because we keep coming around.
Hahahaha! Thats funny. I have the same problem with my geraniums on the porch. although... i stopped watering them and then i had to check on them yesterday and somehow all the eggs are gone but one. The one egg is not even in the nest, so something must be wrong with it. so now I feel bad and I am trying to get Kase to get the egg out cause I am scared to touch it. sigh.... crazy birds.
That's hilarious! Scott is always trying to make me face my fears too. I don't like it!!
Funny thing is I have a terrible fear of birds attacking me! I'd be scared if I was you too! Good luck with facing your fears! Love all of the new posts! Way to go! I love all of your new profile pictures too.
Oh my Gosh! Chelsea and I came home from a scarey movie (The Ring) and there was a bird in the wreath on the front door. It flew into the house and we screamed. It took forever to catch it. I feel for you but I did laugh out loud. Tell Brock to take his turn risking his life. Funny! Your girls are beautiful...
You made me laugh out loud sitting alone in my office! I love you so much! Love, Shelley
