Puzzles

We like puzzles. Lauren requested that we get a 2,000 piece puzzle for Christmas and work on it over the holiday break. I picked out this beautiful castle. It is the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. Everyone was really excited at first. We all took turns working on it. Then...it got really hard. There are so many greens, blues, and mountain pieces. It's also been really annoying because it is taking up half of our dining table. I want it gone! I am over doing the puzzle. It is now January 10th. This puzzle is taking so much longer than I thought it would. Poor Mr. Stoner has been the only one consistently trying to complete the beast. Lesson learned: a 2,000 piece puzzle is too big!
Mr. Stoner has every piece neatly laid out. He's very methodical. I'm just hoping we can all sit comfortably at our table very soon.

That cracks me up! I love big puzzles too...it's impossible to do them with toddlers still around though.

Ha Ha Ha! I have been struggling with Bailee's 100 piece puzzles. I love the organization of the puzzle pieces thought. You guys are awesome!

The most entertaining part of this puzzle is trying to pronounce the name of the castle. Noo-eh-schwan-steen. Nooer-schwan-stehn. Nen-shan-stehn-flop. No wonder Walt Disney made some alterations when he used it for his design. :)

My mom had a ouzzle like that! It was one of this very masculine woman with the American flag. She was almost done, but unfortunately we had a baby (Christian) in the house so he got to it and ripped it up. My mom still has the box and all the pieces but she probably doesn't want to start on it again until the two babies are older.

Oh My! I have never seen such organization. We put a puzzle together every Christmas. It is one of my traditions and Chelsea is the only one who loves it with me.
